The first hotel in Spain by METT Hotels & Resorts has opened its doors between Marbella and Estepona, featuring 253 rooms and a central pool that merges with the horizon. The complex, located in front of El Saladillo beach, focuses on luxury and relaxation.

The first hotel in Spain from the METT Hotels & Resorts chain is now a reality on the coast connecting Marbella with Estepona. Facing El Saladillo beach, the complex boasts 253 rooms, including 24 exclusive suites with private pools and gardens. The firm, a hotel division of the international Sunset Hospitality Group, has designed the space to ensure guest privacy while maintaining a connection with the Mediterranean environment.

A central pool that sets the rhythm of the day

The soul of the hotel is its central pool, a turquoise mirror of water that visually merges with the maritime horizon. From morning until sunset, guests can enjoy an atmosphere where time is not measured by the clock but by the ebb and flow of the sun reflected on the surface. Soft music accompanies every moment, creating a total relaxation atmosphere.

At Azure Beach, the sun loungers are shaded by umbrellas that filter the warmth of the south. Here, relaxation reaches an almost divine dimension, as described by the hotel’s management. Guests can savour a pan-Asian culinary proposal or an author cocktail without leaving their sunbed, barefoot with their gaze lost on the horizon.

A culinary offer that travels through the Mediterranean

As evening falls, the culinary offerings of the complex showcase their versatility. Ammos Greek Restaurant transports diners to the Aegean Sea with fresh fish of the day grilled and traditional dishes like tzatziki or saganaki cheese. Isola Ristorante pays homage to southern Italian recipes with a contemporary take on classic dishes, highlighting homemade fresh pasta.

To complete the immersion in the land that hosts them, El Bar de Lola provides a local counterpoint with a selection of traditional Andalusian tapas, paired with national wines from small producers. Residents of the Costa del Sol and tourists visiting the area can enjoy this culinary offering without needing to stay at the hotel, as the restaurants are open to the general public.

METT Marbella-Estepona demonstrates that true contemporary well-being consists of regaining control of time and enjoying things at a leisurely pace. For residents of Marbella and Estepona, this new hotel becomes another attraction in the area, with dining and leisure options that enrich the local offering.

The hotel opens its doors in the peak season, just in time for visitors to enjoy summer on the Costa del Sol. Reservations are already available through the official METT Hotels & Resorts website, with prices varying according to the season and room type.
