The new centre, driven by cinematographer Christian Reifenrath, offers studios, equipment rental, and production services for brands and creators.
Marbella now has a new space dedicated to high-level visual communication. Chris Rey Media, a studio that integrates photography, video, podcasting, and commercial production, opens its doors in the city with the aim of meeting the growing demand for professional content from international companies, brands, and entrepreneurs based on the Costa del Sol.
The facilities, located in the heart of Marbella, are designed to cover the entire creative process under one roof. They feature several sets prepared for photo shoots, video recordings, interviews, castings, and training, as well as a rental service for professional cameras and lenses aimed at both production companies and independent creators.
The project is spearheaded by Christian Reifenrath, a cinematographer with specific training in the audiovisual sector. His experience in professional cinema gives the studio a distinctive stamp: the application of lighting techniques, visual storytelling, and aesthetic criteria typical of cinematic language to commercial and corporate productions.
As the founder explains, the philosophy of Chris Rey Media does not seek to distance itself from the real needs of companies, but to enrich them. “Lighting, visual storytelling, and the construction of images designed to evoke emotion add value to any production, regardless of its size,” Reifenrath points out.
In recent years, Marbella has established itself as a hub for international professionals. Entrepreneurs, brands, and creators from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and other countries coexist in a city that combines quality of life, entrepreneurship, and an economic activity linked to luxury, tourism, technology, and communication. In this context, the demand for high-quality visual content has notably increased.
Chris Rey Media aims to become a reference centre for audiovisual production on the Costa del Sol. The space is designed for companies, brands, and creators to find the necessary tools to communicate better, produce comfortably, and develop projects with a visual level inspired by the standards of the film industry.
The studio also offers the possibility of renting its facilities by the hour or day, allowing independent professionals and small agencies to access equipment and spaces that would otherwise be difficult to afford. This business model seeks to democratise access to professional production in an area where real estate costs and the lack of suitable spaces have traditionally been a barrier.
The opening of Chris Rey Media coincides with a boom in the audiovisual sector in the province of Málaga. The Costa del Sol has seen a significant increase in film productions, series, and advertising spots in recent years, attracted by the climate, landscapes, and tax advantages. In this ecosystem, the existence of equipped studios and local production services becomes a key factor in retaining talent and projects.
For the residents of Marbella and the surrounding area, the arrival of this new space represents an additional opportunity for training and employment in a growing sector. The studio plans to organise workshops and courses aimed at both professionals and enthusiasts, with the goal of promoting visual culture and technical training in the area.
Chris Rey Media opens its doors with the intention of establishing itself as a meeting point for the creative community of Marbella. The combination of infrastructure, equipment, and an artistic vision based on professional cinema aims to make a difference in an increasingly competitive market.
