The Civil Guard has arrested three men in Calarberche, Toledo, for their involvement in several crimes, including armed robbery and arson. This incident has affected five homes in the area.

Details of the robbery and the fire

The detainees are men aged between 35 and 43, who, according to investigations, carried out a robbery at the home of one of the arrested individuals. During the attack, using a gun, they stole 15,000 euros in cash and other items valued at over 20,000 euros.

In retaliation, the victim of the robbery intentionally set fire to the homes of the alleged thieves. However, the fire spread to adjacent properties, affecting a total of five homes, creating a concerning situation in the area.

Intervention of the Civil Guard

After the fire, the perpetrators of the robbery returned to the victim's home, where a new confrontation occurred that included an exchange of gunfire. This led the agents to initiate an investigation to clarify the events.

The Civil Guard carried out several home searches, with the collaboration of the GRS-1 of Valdemoro, managing to arrest one of the suspects. A significant amount of ammunition of various calibres, compatible with real firearms, was found at his home.

Simultaneously, the other two detainees, who did not have a fixed address and occupied different properties, were also arrested. The three detainees have been placed at the disposal of the First Instance Court of Torrijos, which has ordered the imprisonment of one of them without the possibility of bail.

The Civil Guard continues to investigate these criminal events and has established contact with the Toledo Command for any additional information related to the case.
