The BOJA published on September 21 the public call to fill the position of deputy manager of the Regional University Hospital of Málaga. Candidates have ten days to submit their technical management project and their CV.
The Regional University Hospital of Málaga has opened the process to incorporate a deputy manager, the number two of the healthcare centre. The public call appears in the Official Bulletin of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) dated September 21, as reported by Diario Sur, and responds to the appointment of new technical management positions following the Andalusian elections on May 17.
The position is classified under group A1/A2 and will report to the current managing director, José Antonio Ortega, who has held the position since March 2023, replacing María del Mar Vázquez. Ortega arrived from the Virgen de la Victoria University Clinical Hospital, where he was manager since June 2020.
The General Directorate of Personnel of the SAS issued a resolution on September 16 that activated the call. To apply for the position, candidates must hold a university degree as a graduate, licentiate, diploma, or equivalent.
Candidates must submit the application along with the technical management project, the CV, and documentation proving their suitability. The deadline for submitting all documentation is ten days.
The technical project must include proposals regarding the centre's programme contract, the management of budget chapters, the healthcare provided by the hospital, and the indicators of healthcare activity and process management.
The selection will be completed with an interview with the managing director once the candidates have been deemed suitable. The evaluation will consider the strategic lines for the areas of responsibility, the analysis of assigned human and structural resources, the objectives with their timeline, the indicators and reference standards, the ability to generate and transfer knowledge and innovations, and the proposals for improvement.
