The State Meteorological Agency forecasts a maximum temperature of 32 degrees and a minimum of 24 for Málaga this Saturday, with partly cloudy skies and winds of up to 28 km/h.
The day of Saturday, July 18 in Málaga will be marked by a summer-like heat, with a maximum temperature reaching 32 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24, according to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Low probability of rain and variable cloudiness
The probability of precipitation for this day is practically nil: a 1% during the day and 0% at night. The skies will present a cloud cover of 34% during the central hours, which will decrease to 22% in the evening.
Wind gusts will reach 28 kilometres per hour during the day and 22 km/h at night, which will slightly relieve the muggy feeling in coastal areas.
Aemet warns that ultraviolet (UV) rays will reach a level of 10, considered very high. It is recommended that locals and visitors take extra sun protection, especially between 12:00 and 16:00 hours.
A Saturday to enjoy the beach with caution
With these conditions, the beaches of the capital, such as Malagueta or Pedregalejo, will be a good plan for those wanting to combat the heat. However, the ambient humidity typical of the Málaga coastline will make the thermal sensation slightly higher.
Meteorologists remind us that in summer, the arrival of terral winds is common, which can drive temperatures above 40 degrees in some inland areas of the province. However, this phenomenon is not expected in the capital this Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of the weekend
Looking ahead to Sunday, temperatures will remain at similar values, with maximums around 31 degrees and minimums of 23. The probability of rain will remain low, although cloudiness may slightly increase in the afternoon.
Those planning to take excursions inland to areas like Axarquía or Serranía de Ronda should keep in mind that maximums there may be slightly higher, nearing 34 degrees in towns like Coín or Ronda.
In short, another summer Saturday in Málaga, with sun, heat, and no rain in sight. Perfect for those wanting to enjoy terraces or the beach, but remember to have sun cream applied and a bottle of water always at hand.
